Small Business Job Retention and Creation Grant Program

 NOW AVAILABLE- Application and Guidelines 

The City of South Gate will offer one-time $10,000 grants to help twenty small businesses retain staff and continue to provide quality services to its residents. The program is made possible with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), therefore businesses must meet all requirements to be eligible for the program. 

The application will be released on Tuesday, May 19th and will be available on our website. We will also have copies available in front of City Hall. We will begin accepting application on Tuesday, May 26th and the deadline to submit the application will be Thursday, May 28th at 5:00pm. All applications must be emailed to ecodev@sogate.org or be delivered in person to our mailbox at City Hall.
