The City invites you to celebrate National Public Works Week (NPWW), which will be observed countrywide the week of May 18th 2020. NPWW recognizes tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide services and maintain the infrastructure collectively known as public works. This celebration calls attention to the value of public works programs in sustaining our communities.
This year’s theme for NPWW is "The Rhythm of Public Works." It challenges residents to think about their community as a symphony of essential services, working in concert to create a great place to live. Every community has a rhythm, a heartbeat that reflects its essence and tempo of life.
The City is celebrating NPWW virtually, as a measure towards reducing the risk of spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community. The City is commemorating Public Works Week with this website where you can learn more about the City’s Public Works program.
