PROJECT OVERVIEW
Preparation of the South Gate Parks & Recreation Facilities Master Plan will be the end result. The project will entail evaluating the community’s needs and existing facility master plan and making recommendations based on findings. Recommendations are to emphasize the program vision, needs and priorities that will drive the physical design aspects of the project. This document will be used to identify and prioritize capital projects and facility improvements for a period of 10 to 20 years. The following describes specific components which should be included in the scope of work. The final scope of work is expected to be finalized with the selected consultant team. The City is open to suggestions other than those listed in the work program or which consultants believe would be of value to producing a Master Plan that reflects the unique nature of the City of South Gate.
