This year's International ShakeOut Day is October 17, when millions of people worldwide will participate in earthquake drills at work, school, or home!
The Great Shakeout is happening Thursday, 10-17, at 10:17am!Our offices will be temporarily closed during this time as we conduct our earthquake drill (typically 15-minute closure).
This is a great time to reevaluate your safety preparedness at home by creating or refreshing an evacuation plan, shelter-in-place plan, or other safety plan for you and your loved ones. Consider having supplies on hand such as water, canned goods, blankets, flashlights, etc. Pack bags of extra clothes and shoes to be kept accessible in the home or in your vehicle(s). Have a friends/family communication plan in place.
