The City of South Gate is seeking professional services to i) develop city-wide Objective Design Standards (ODS) for residential projects, ii) develop prototype Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) plans, and iii) associated public outreach and environmental review. to establish City-wide objective design standards complete with conceptual elevations that can be applied to all residential develop projects. This will include single-family, multi-family and mixed-use residential projects and accessory dwelling units.
The City has been awarded a LEAP planning grant and intends to utilize $245,950 of the grant funds towards the completion of the Scope of Work outlined in this RFP. Due to the nature of the funding source, the selected Consultant will be required to provide periodic assistance, information, and retain records in compliance with the terms of the grant. The budget for the completion of the Scope of Work is not to exceed $245,950.
