In this class the instructor will introduce students to the field of earth art, specifically focusing on Robert Smithson's Spiral Jetty. Guided through imaginative exercises, mindfulness techniques, and multi-sensory stimulation, participants will be able to virtually travel to Utah's Great Salt Lake. In the comfort of their own space, students will be given the attention and guidance they need to build a miniature version of this earthwork sculpture.
