Section 8 Waitlist

The Section 8 Public Housing Waiting List in the City of South Gate will open for new applications on Monday, May 27 at 8:00 a.m. and will close on June 10 at 11:59 p.m. Applications can be submitted online.

The South Gate Housing Authority is available to assist those who need help in applying to ensure that as many people as possible can utilize this opportunity. The SGHA office located at 8650 California Avenue (Community Development Department – Housing Division) will have tablets, computers, and staff available to assist applicants Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. For assistance, applicants may call 323-563-9534 or email at sghousing@sogate.org to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
